People take a personal challenge of writing 50, words in 30 days. However, some decide to ramp that up and try to write it in 24 hours. And I thought, why not? Gave it a try, and a carpel tunnel diagnosis later, I succeeded!

Courageous writers do, but so do writers who understand the business of writing, and why too-long books are more difficult to sell. Attention spans are shorter.
If you can, aim for under 80, words. Writers will argue with me on this point, I know, reminding me of crazy-long bestsellers Goldfinch, anyone? Overly long books are a red flag to agents and editors.
