Sr2femoo6 thesis

Article ABSTRACT Z-scan and pump-probe measurements with ultrafast, nm laser pulses were used to compare the ultrafast optical nonlinearities of VO2 nanoparticles and thin films in both semiconducting and metallic states.

In the metallic state, both the nanocrystals and thin films exhibit a positive, intensity-dependent nonlinear index of refraction. However, the nonlinear effects are relatively larger in the VO2 nanocrystals, which also reveal a saturable nonlinear Sr2femoo6 thesis.

When the semiconductor-to-metal phase transition is induced by the laser pulse, VO2 thin films exhibit a negative equivalent nonlinear index of refraction while the nanocrystals exhibit a smaller but still positive index.

Both the VO2 nanocrystals and thin films undergo the phase transition within fs. Nano-Ag on vanadium dioxide. Thermal tuning of surface plasmon resonance.

The tuning is strongly temperature dependent and thermally reversible. Interaction of nano-Ag with incident light yields a salient absorption band in the visible-near IR region and modifies the spectrum of VO2 locally Photoluminescence and electroluminescence of size-controlled silicon nanocrystallites embedded in SiO2 thin films.

The nc-Si size was controlled by the SiO thickness. In this study the SiO2 thickness was maintained at 5 nm and the SiO thickness was varied from 2 to 6 nm. It was revealed by transmission electron microscopy that SrFeO3 nanoparticles are dispersed in the SrMoO4 grains, to which the hystersis loops It is shown that this transition can be used for obtaining nanogranular materials possessing soft Enhancement of third-order nonlinear optical susceptibilities in silica-capped Au nanoparticle films with very high concentrations.

Double perovskite (DP) oxides of the type A2BB’O6 (A: coordinated large di/tri-valent cation; B/B’: octahedrally coordinated transition metals) offer a unique material framework to engineer a wide range of physical functionalities. In its simplest form, the DP structure involves a cubic array of A-cations which is interspersed by corner-sharing BO6 and B’O6 octahedra, often arranged.
